Lessons from the Way of the Showman - 34

A major component of the Showman’s Art is Novelty. Often we are billed as novelty acts.
For acts to have maximum visceral impact they must be new and appear to happen in the moment possibly for the first time in history.
Acute, attentive, together, right here, right now; how we long for these moments. Consumed by life.
When the novelty is gone you have but an act. In this we find the roots of the traveling performer.
